Two-Headed Bearded Dragon!
This absolutely gorgeous two-headed bearded dragon will be exploited and publicly displayed in an animal freak show in the U.S. Now I know most of you will be thinking that it’s fair enough, other people with normal reptiles do displays and shows and there’s no problem with that. However I find the thought of an animal freak show utterly disgusting. And the fact that these animals will be publicly displayed because of their mutations, owned by someone that obviously doesn’t care about the animals or their uniqueness for any other reason than to make money, also, utterly disgusting. Each to their own though.

Jake, I’m the owner of the Two-Headed bearded dragon and I can’t believe that you said, “owned by someone that obviously doesn’t care about the animals or their uniqueness for any other reason than to make money”. Have we met or are you just making an assumption based on some type of idea you have in your head? Just so you know, they are doing great and have doubled in size. I have 22 animals with Two Heads that are all alive and healthy and I don’t know if you could even understand the level of care and commitment it takes to help these animals survive. My museum is not a Freakshow from the 1800s……it is the only place where kids can see the Living Wonders of the World with their families and understand the beauty of life in all it’s amazing forms. Next time you are in Venice, Ca., come by and see them…..meet me in person……see how well I take care of my animals……and then write about me.

I own those dragons and resent your judgement of me and my business. First of all, they have not been taken to the Freakshow because I’m concerned for them being stressed. Second, our place is for kids and families to see the Living Wonders of the World…..not to exploit animals. You should be with me 24 hours a day as I care for them all. Talk about just making things up……where did you get your ideas?

Putting unhealthy animals on display because of their mutations for the sole purpose to make money is the very definition of animal exploitation. They’re not living wonders of the world, they’re mutations, many of which probably live in pain or at the very least, uncomfortably. In my personal opinion animals like this should be cared for by professionals in the animal world, such as scientists or Zoos. Either that or they should be owned by people that wont try to make money off of them. No matter what you say, if you didn’t own the ‘freakshow’ that gives you an income, you wouldn’t own these animals. They should go to someone who would own them, would care for them and wouldn’t exploit them, without making an income from their mutations.

I am very concerned when you say that you have 22 animals with two – heads, are you deliberately breading them for this mutation as I think anyone will agree that the numbers you have are frightfully high for it to be a NATURAL occurrance !!!!!
